Adieu, Thee Farewell

Yellow sun shining through the windows,
My eyes fill with warmth,
After days of overcast and showers,
The rays evaded the nimbus.

Though the sun makes it bright,
The birds being dry fly high,
The green is fresher than ever before,
And the mother has rejuvenated.

A thought in mind overcasts my mood,
A thought, my heart must forget soon,
A thought, changing a cherished pattern,
A thought, lurking inside me for a while.

The solitary companion erased seclusion,
A chirpy bird filled the hollow ears,
Hours spent and mind engaged,
The chirpy bird always made my day.

The bird beckoned homecoming,
The bird ignited new spirit,
The bird inspired new fire,
The bird became an eternal gift.

Now that the sun is shining ever so bright,
The grey transformed to green overnight,
The solitary confinement is back for me,
As I see the bird fly away, leaving the tree.

The bird flies high, flies with pride,
So far , so far it flies,
Just as a star remains to my eyes,
As the bird reaches the sun,
It leaves behind an enduring run.
