Drinking the Lees

The sky was clear blue,
Until the clouds drew.

Blocking rays here and there,
Painting grey everywhere.
The clouds collide
Emitting a lightning spark,
They rebounded,
Leaving a scar mark!
Tears like rain,now,pouring down
All over the place of the town,
Images become vaguer and vaguer,
Till the eyelids come closer and closer,
Feeling the piercing pain

Of every rain,

At last I realize

Everything's in vain!

If only the rain stops forever,

No clouds blocking the rays ever,

If only there would be a time-tuner,

I would have made the lightning fainter!

But now that clouds roar,

Rains falling even more,

No one even tries to say,

That there can be a way.

The plants have drooped down

They can't take it anymore,

The birds on the roof

Shivering even more.

But the clouds show no mercy,

Like there'll be no ecstasy!

They'll collide and rebound --
That's what said by the thunder sounds.

Rain will fall,until eyes fall,

Clouds rumble until we crumble,

Clear sky will never be seen,

Unless I drink life to its lees.
